In accordance with the European Commission's implementation decision (EU) 2018/1523 dated 11 October 2018 laying down a model for barrier-free accessibility in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications.

 

Declaration of barrier-free accessibility

 

Business Upper Austria - OÖ Wirtschaftsagentur GmbH  makes every effort to provide barrier- free access to its websites in accordance with the Web Accessibility Directive and implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the website and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Memo 327, 02/12/2016, p. 1).

Status of compliance with the directive

 

The website is partially compliant with conformity level AA of the "Web Content

Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1" according to the applicable harmonised European standard "European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08)" due to the following incompatibilities.

 

The website is not compliant with conformity level AA of the "Web Content

Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1" or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08). The exceptions are listed below.

 

Contents that are not accessible barrier-free

 

The content listed below is not accessible barrier-free for the following reasons: Incompatibility with the Web Accessibility Directive (EU) 2016/2102

 

Some videos do not have subtitles, which means that spoken content is not unavailable to deaf users. In such a case, WCAG success criterion 1.2.2 (subtitles provided) is not met.

 

Level 1 and 2 headings are missing from the content of the website home page. In such a case, WCAG success criteria 1.3.1 (info and relationships) and 2.4.6 (headings and captions) are not met.

 

When links open new windows, this behavior is not always indicated by the Tooltip "Opens in a new window".

 

How this declaration of barrier-free accessibility was compiled

 

This declaration was compiled on 19/09/2022.

 

The assessment of the compliance of the websites with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 was carried out by a third party to assess the basic components of each website in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.0 AA.

 

The contents of selected web page (home page, an overview page, an article page and a news page with different content types such as text, image, video) were subjected to a self- test in accordance with WCAG 2.1 at compliance level AA in September 2022.

Remedial process

 

If you are not satisfied with the response you receive relating to the feedback notification option mentioned above, you can submit a complaint to the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The FFG complaints sent electronically using the contact form below.

 

Complaint contact form

 

FFG examines complaints to determine whether they relate to violations of the Web Accessibility Directive, in particular in terms of failure to comply with accessibility

requirements, by the Austrian government or one of its institutions.

 

If the complaint is justified, the FFG makes recommendations for action to the Austrian government or its legal representatives and proposes measures to remedy the barriers.
